First Book-Metro Phoenix, Borders® and Waldenbooks® Stores Bring the Gift of New Books To Children in Need

First Book-Metro Phoenix was excited to grant $4,000 in Borders gift cards to local non-profits that directly serve children in need. This year First Book-Metro Phoenix had the privilege to distribute these gift cards to Motheread® Arizona, The Family School, Los Arcos United Methodist Church, Wesley Community Center, Mesa Early Learning and Lincoln Learning Center. This is the second consecutive year that Borders, Waldenbooks and First Book have joined together for a holiday fundraising drive. - May 15, 2008
