The concert will be held in the state-of-the-art Irwin M. Jacobs Qualcomm Hall located in Sorrento Valley. The Vision of Children Foundation (VOC), a non-profit organization focused on finding a cure for hereditary childhood blindness, today announced that retailers and shoppers on both coasts have shown overwhelming support for VOC. In Central New Jersey, Saker ShopRites, world-class supermarkets, raised over $220,000; and Del Mar Highlands Town Center, a small local strip mall in Del Mar, California, is selling holiday cards designed by local students and donating the proceeds to the VOC. - December 15, 2008
