Samadhi Center for Yoga, Denver’s Premier Yoga Studio, with awards from WestWord, CitySearch, 5280, and Channel 7, announces a new immersion, Roots of Change; The Science of Self, to anyone seeking peace, happiness and harmony in their life and relationships on every level.
Denver, CO, December 08, 2017 --(PR.com)-- This immersion offers an opportunity for students who strive to make lasting changes, whether in health, personal and professional relationships or finding meaning and direction. Roots of Change, is a 10-Month immersion, which will meet one Sunday per month, from Noon to 4:00pm, starting in January, ending in November 2018. The course is open to participants of all levels and walks of life. No yoga experience is necessary.
Neuroplasticity demonstrates the human ability to restructure and recondition the brain to learn new ways of thinking and acting. Mindfulness practices, including yoga and meditation, are scientifically proven to be effective methods of creating lasting changes in health, quality of life and overall well-being.
“We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” - Albert Einstein
Thus, in order to change our perception of ourselves, and the world, students will use the 8 limbs of yoga to make energetic shifts from thinking to feeling to being and becoming. From this state, it is possible to choose consciously and make life changes to reshape our future. These are the ancient secrets that Swamis and Yogis understood thousands of years ago that modern science supports.
Roots of Change is offered by Acharya, Michelle Anne, the Founder/Executive Director of The Masters Course, a Denver-based Mindfulness and Stress Reduction company. Anne, traditionally trained in yogic philosophy, has studied yoga and meditation for over 20 years. She has been bestowed the title of Acharya by her teacher, Yogi Amrit Desai, and has trained with Jon Kabat-Zinn, a professor of Medicine Emeritus, and creator of the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
“We hope to create a beautiful community in this immersion where students build lasting friendships that support their soul," stated Andora Freedom, Founder/Owner of Samadhi Center for yoga. “Community is at the core of everything we do.”
