The 1st Gen College Student Summit that happened this weekend is the fourth and has grown from fewer than 50 students the first year to over 250 from 30 colleges and universities this year -- with a waiting list. 1st gens are hungry for this support, as are the administrators, advisors, faculty and others who work to support the special needs of this vulnerable population.
