Rob Baxley continued his charge toward the 2007 USA Golf Tour Amateur Net handicap Championship with a net 66 in round 1. The 2007 USA Golf Florida Open was original set to be a two day event. Tropical Strom Barry forced the tour director to change the event to a one day 36 hole event. The course showed no signs of the storm as players geared up for a long day of golf.
