On Saturday, June 21, 2014, the YMCA of Austin celebrated a $37,730 grant provided by the Walmart Foundation. The Y will offer The Happy Kitchen / La Cocina Alegre® classes to 300 individuals in underserved Austin communities. A check presentation from the Walmart Foundation held at the North Austin Y included fun activities for all ages in the Community Garden. Dennis Rodman is helping out a friend, Ray Sabbatini, raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. Ray Sabbatini sufferers from Multiple Sclerosis, a disease that effects about 2.5 million people worldwide, and reached out to his friend for help.
